At ComplyHQ, we take our commitments to clients seriously and aim to deliver compliance services with accuracy, care, and professionalism. This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for services availed through ComplyHQ.

If at any point you're unhappy with how your engagement is progressing, please reach out to us directly at contact@thewebgravity.com before requesting a cancellation. Most concerns - delays in communication, clarification on process, or documentation queries - can be resolved quickly once we understand the issue.
Please note that while we can address and fix delays or errors on our end, we cannot control delays caused by government departments, regulatory portals (such as MCA, GST Network, Income Tax, or Trademark Registry websites), or issues arising from incomplete or incorrect documentation submitted by you. We appreciate your patience as our team works to resolve any genuine service issue.
Our Refund Policy
ComplyHQ's refund terms are straightforward:
- Before work begins: If you cancel your engagement before we have started any work on it (such as document preparation, drafting, or filing submission), you are eligible for a refund of the service fee paid, subject to review.
- Once work has begun: Once our team has commenced work on your engagement - including document preparation, filings, applications, or advisory work - the engagement is considered non-refundable. This is because compliance work involves time, effort, and often coordination with government systems that cannot be reversed once initiated.
- Government fees: Any government fees, stamp duty, or statutory charges already paid or remitted to a government authority on your behalf are non-refundable once submitted, regardless of the status of our own service fee.
Change of Service
If you wish to switch to a different service than the one originally ordered, please contact us within 7 days of payment. Change requests made after this window, or after work has commenced, may not be accommodated and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund (only applicable where work has not yet commenced, per the policy above):
- Email us at contact@thewebgravity.com with your payment/transaction details and the reason for your request.
- Our team will review your request and confirm eligibility based on the status of your engagement.
- Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe, which we will communicate to you at the time of confirmation.
Penalties, Taxes & Outcome-Related Costs
Once we have delivered the agreed service (such as submitting a filing or completing an advisory deliverable), our service obligation for that task is considered fulfilled. Clients are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information they provide, and for any penalties, taxes, or additional costs that may arise from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by them. ComplyHQ is not responsible for paying penalties or taxes on a client's behalf.
Factors Outside Our Control
We do not guarantee specific outcomes for services that depend on third-party government approval - for example, a trademark application may be objected to or rejected by the Trademark Registry for legal reasons unrelated to our service quality. Similarly, delays caused by government backlogs or issues with official portals (MCA, GST, Income Tax, etc.) are outside our control.
Such delays or third-party outcomes are not, by themselves, grounds for a refund.
Force Majeure
ComplyHQ shall not be held responsible for delays or service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control - including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, changes in law, internet or portal outages, strikes, or similar events. In such cases, we are not liable for any resulting delay in fulfilling our obligations.
